This journey invites you to explore Haida Gwaii by spending time in three distinct parts of the islands, with two nights at each location. Along the way, guests encounter changing landscapes, rhythms, and perspectives — from open coastline to forested inlets — with ample time for independent exploration and the freedom to shape each day as they choose.

The order of stays may vary based on flight schedules and guest preference, allowing the experience to flow naturally in either direction.

This is a self-directed experience — thoughtfully structured, never rushed, and grounded in respect for place.

Cabin Stay with Included Experiences | 2 Nights

Hekate’s Retreat is located in Sandspit, along the golf course at the edge of the spit. The property sits directly across the road from the ocean, with the beach a five-minute walk from the cabins.

Included at Hekate’s Retreat:

  • The modern and cozy Fairway cabins are self-contained studios with a queen bed, kitchenette and bathroom (Sleep 2).

  • Complimentary use of e-bikes, golf course, pickleball courts, and Nordic sauna circuit.

  • A local art class onsite

Haida House — Tll.aal / Tlell

Oceanfront Cabin Stay | 2 Nights

Situated along Tlell river, Haida House is set where forest, shoreline, and open water meet. This classic Haida Gwaii property offers a quiet, authentic coastal setting.

Included at Haida House:

  • Private oceanfront cabins can accommodate up to four guests in two separate bedrooms (queen bed + double bed).

  • Cabin amenities include a private hot tub, wet bar, outdoor shower and sweeping views of Graham Island’s east coast.

Ancient Dunes — Tlaga Gawtlaas / Masset

Oceanfront Dome Accommodation | 2 Nights

Located near Masset, Ancient Dunes offers modern, oceanfront geodesic domes immersed in coastal landscape.

Getting Here

BY AIR

Haida Gwaii is accessed by air (approx. 90 minutes) from Vancouver (YVR), with two arrival options depending on flight availability and preferred routing.

K’il Kun Xidgwangs Daanaay Airport (YZP) - K’il Kun / Sandspit Airport

  • Served by Air Canada

  • Located near Hekate’s Retreat

Masset Airport (ZMT) — Tlaga Gawtlaas / Masset

Charter flights are also offered by Helijet and Inland Air.

Airport pickup and drop-off are included, and transportation between accommodations is coordinated to align with recommended flight schedules. Once booked, guests receive guidance on flight timing and airport selection to ensure a smooth arrival and departure.

BY SEA

BC Ferries provides a regularly scheduled service to Skidegate from Prince Rupert, BC; with connector services available in Prince Rupert for the Inside Passage route to Port Hardy on Vancouver Island. There are also hourly crossings between Moresby Island and Graham Island.
