Get ready to fish the edge — the Long Fin Tuna Poke Derby is returning to Haida Gwaii for an epic week of Tuna and Salmon fishing, community connection, and coastal celebration.

With cash prizes, nightly feasts, a community dance, and off-day golf and pickleball, it’s a full-on experience both on the water and ashore. Whether you're chasing the biggest Tuna or trolling for Salmon, you'll be part of something wild and unforgettable.

Fishing Daily – Tuna & Salmon
All derby days feature open fishing for Long Fin Tuna and Salmon, with daily weigh-ins at the Sandspit Marina. Fish hard, fish smart — every pound counts toward your shot at the podium.
