After last year's incredible success, we're bringing back the Salmon & Tuna Derby – the ultimate way to close out the 2026 fishing season on Haida Gwaii, one of the most remote and spectacular coastlines in Canada.

Target trophy salmon and longfin tuna in the pristine waters at the "edge of the world." Whether you're an experienced angler bringing your own boat or looking to charter one of our boats with qualified captains, this derby offers world-class fishing, incredible camaraderie, and the chance to land the fish of a lifetime.

All derby days feature open fishing for Long Fin Tuna and Salmon, with daily weigh-ins at the Sandspit Marina.
